TEDCO Program: Feasibility Study Grant Program

The Feasibility Study Grant Program is designed to assist higher education institutions and local economic development organizations in creating and expanding technology business incubators.

TEDCO provides matching grant dollars for winning proposals. (Maximum grant is $25,000 per study.) To qualify for the award the applicant must be a government, government-related or university-related organization located in Maryland. The applicant must be considering the development of a new business incubator or the expansion of an existing incubator that will support technology firms. The feasibility study must be performed by an independent entity.

The specific scope of the study will be determined by local needs. However, the intent of the program is to determine the need for the incubator, availability of resources, methods of incubator management, sustainability of the incubator, as well as other factors that will impact the success of a new program.
